2D Voronoi Gyroid by sjoo 2D Voronoi Gyroid by sjoo
Voronoi cell structure based on a tensegrity gyroid shape. Irregular point set calculation again with my new pointset caculator within “Qhull<->Maya PyMEL-GUI”([link]). Certainly pure geometry too - no texture!

I envision this as a base structure to perhaps a table top. I know there's a far bigger picture here, as the gyroid is essentially the building block to incredible new architectural innovation, but this piece, as it stands, could be a truly beautiful, sexy, singular piece of furniture as it is.
